Been busy

A lot has been going on since my last.

I did one day's trial at Kensey - they were happy to take me on but, bloody hell, talk about tedious! I turned them down.

Christmas came and went, mostly uneventfully.

Hubs and the little man were poorly with chest infections around mid-January due to excessive mould in the little man's bedroom.
I got rid of the mould and we bought dehumidifiers for the room, the smaller of which sucks in quite alarming amounts of water from the air, and they got better.

In February I found the most perfect job for me, doing something I'd not done before but which I'd always fancied trying my hand at.
I phoned up and got myself an interview. A week after that I was back for a second interview.
Despite having no references, no qualifications and no experience I was taken on!

I only work three days a week at the moment but am hoping to get more hours soon. I'm really enjoying working with my boss and his wife - particularly his wife as we sit and chat instead of doing our work! They're lovely people and we seem to be getting on really well, which is a good thing as there's usually just the three of us in the office!
